Steam Nextfest Demos

Goodbye Dr. Sanchez

  • Looks interesting, didn’t have anyone to test with though. Basically a 2 player horror escape game.

Agent 64: Spies Never Die

  • Plays like Goldeneye on Nintendo 64. Depending on price point could be worth it, pretty fun to play. Could be fun if it has co-op or multiplayer.

Anger Foot

  • Super dope game, definitely worth buying.

Cult of the Lamb

  • Super cozy roguelike with city building mechanics. Seems worth checking out.

Escape Academy

  • Incredible, buy it.

Gloomwood

  • Eh it’s a typical retro FPS so depends how much it improves over it’s current pre-alpha state.

GTFO

  • Has potential, but the price still seems way to high for the limited replayability.

Metal: Hellsinger

  • Badass, buy it. Only problem is having to have max combo for vocals isn’t ideal.

Ripout

  • Has potential to be good, but it’s pre-alpha state is way to early to tell what the final product will be like.

Stalcraft

  • Not for me but some people may find it fun. Seems very griefable.

Wigged Out

  • Didn’t get to try it, but looks interesting.

King of the Hat

  • Cool concept, really going to depend on price point.

GhostCast

  • Yikes

Falling Out

  • Really cool looking, seems a lot like Spelunky. Worried it will be too high of a price to justify for 2 people.

Evolution Tag 2

  • Skeptical but keep an eye on it.

Dreadhaunt

  • Another 5 person, 1 player becomes killer type game.

Catch Me!

  • Didn’t try it. Doesn’t look like my type of game.

THE HIGHLANDS

  • Looked like it could possibly be interesting, but most likely not worth the price.

Dash Cup Kickers

  • Looks like a good alternative to Super Mario Strikers for PC, but if you have a switch its probably not worth it.

Roboco

  • Super comfy looking game but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try it.

Lego Brawls

  • Actually quite fun. Cool that you unlock more Lego sets by playing and targeting sets. Able to make your own Lego figures and play with iconic characters and sets. It is really going to depend on the price point and if they add more variety in game modes as currently I can see it getting really old really fast.

Perish

  • Plays super well. Really satisfying kills, solid progression system, every playthrough felt different. Would be really fun on a slightly higher difficulty and with friends. Looking forward to it.

Turbo Golf Racing

  • Imagine Golf with Rocket League mechanics. Way more complicated but it could be because I was using a controller. Seems alright.

GIRL.EXE

  • If it is 2$ I will buy it. Otherwise too cursed to own.

Filthy Animals | Heist Simulator

  • Actually quite fun and plays like gang beasts, but the controls seem a bit odd. Well see what state it is in at launch.

Couch Combat

  • Seems like it’d be really fun and wild with a group of 4 guys, depends on the price point.

Fueled Up

  • Game is super cool. Like a way more interesting Overcooked in outer space. Highly recommend if it’s the right price.

Gehinnom

  • Look at it again when it is released. Seemed kind of boring in it’s current state.

EXP: War Trauma

  • Scary game. Seems quite scary but a lot of the time it seems like you are aimlessly searching. If its cheap enough it may be worth checking out but well see.

Fashion Police Squad

  • Actually a pretty fun game but it felt really cringey for me personally so I am gonna pass.

The Fabulous Fear Machine

  • Actually a ton of fun. Really interesting concept and really well done execution. This is definitely a game to keep an eye on.

SCP: Secret Files

  • Actually quite enjoyable, but basically is a walking simulator. Will have to see what the price point is, if there is a decent amount of separate stories and maybe some different mechanics, it could be quite good.

Terra Nil

  • Really comfy game, good implementation and interesting idea. However I can’t see myself playing this game for long before losing interest personally. I will pass.

Trepang2

  • Has pretty satisfying gun play. Weapon customization at terminals is a little bit odd. It seems like a fun game I am just curious if there is any sort of progression system as there is endless side missions? No description on stuff from the Stash Buy Zone is annoying.

Horror Tycoon

  • Might be worth while, depends on the price point.

Frozen Flame

  • Needs a real tutorial, seemed real confusing on what to do. Has protentional but depends on the price point.

Requisition VR

  • Unfortunately there was no pve testing, only pvp testing which I am not too interested in. However the gameplay is really good, even though the audio is a bit questionable. A lot of the mechanics feel really smooth and worked out. Has a lot of promise.

Dysterra

  • Seems interesting in concept, but generally pvpve games in alpha change immensely before release so it’s too early to tell. Right now it looks super polished but didn’t grab my interest. Game crashed, probably trash. After playing for a solid amount of time, it progresses really fast but it seems quite fun and complex. However there are some really bad bugs and lost basically my entire character to one so wouldn’t recommend it unless it gets a lot of bug testing and fixing.
